NYC's loudest band-- creating kick-ass classic rock for the new millennium.
Born in 2006 out of a chance meeting between Hector (guitars) and Besto (vocals), Rain Of The Rock has developed a raw, stark true rock soldier sound to combat all the hipster poseur rock that's much too prevalent on the music scene these days.
Rain Of The Rock
- I Won't Leave You Here (Live)
Influenced by the likes of Aerosmith, Zeppelin, the Doors, the Stones, Crue, Ozzy, and Guns 'n' Roses, ROTR isn't seeking to relive rock's Golden Age, but rather to usher in a new era of rock music. With fan favorite songs such as 'Closing In', 'I Won't Leave You Here' and 'Pull The Plug' already proven time and again in performance, they have just the repertoire-- and attitude-- to do it.
With Roach (drums) and Ronal (bass) rounding out the lineup, ROTR has already played to crowds as large as 800 and single-handedly
caused buildings to collapse.
As they continue to write, perform and record, it's only a matter of time before the rest of the world recognizes what New Yorkers already know: Rain Of The Rock is hard rock.
And, before you ask-- Yes, Rain of the Rock is that band that, after playing a full-on ROWDY and LOUD set at the Roomful of Sky Records launch party at The Cutting Room last year-- saw the building across the street literally
and fall to the ground right after their set. It was right then that we knew this band was capable of delivering the POWER to kick rock music back into shape.
